Announcing new Garden of Mitzvot Hours & Volunteer Days!

The Garden of Mitzvot, located on the Temple Israel campus, has been revitalized into a working garden supplying fresh produce to the Temple Israel Food Pantry. In 2024, volunteers helped harvest over 500 pounds of food, and in 2025, we plan to expand and improve the garden!

Get Involved:

When: Weekly volunteer hours

• Sunday Mornings (open to all): April & October–November 10:00am–12:00pm, May–September 9:00am–12:00pm
• Monday Afternoons (for MNS students): April 7th–May 5th, September 8th–November 10th, 4:30–6:00pm
• Tuesday Afternoons: May–September 6:00–8:00pm, October–November 4th: 4–5:30pm

Where: Garden of Mitzvot, Temple Israel Campus

What to Bring: Dress for the weather—tools provided, but feel free to bring your own.
We welcome volunteers of all ages and experience levels. Whether you're planting, weeding, or harvesting, your help makes a difference!
