"WHOEVER SAVES ONE LIFE, IT IS AS THOUGH THEY HAVE SAVED ALL OF HUMANITY"
Our multi-faith community is committed to making a REAL difference in the lives of asylum-seeking families. Congregation Albert in Albuquerque, NM has become a drop-off site for those who have been processed at the border, but are not yet in the state where their asylum cases will be heard.
Through donations and volunteers, Congregation Albert helps at least 100 people each month during this critical step, providing food, clothes, medical care, and housing. Volunteers then get them to their loved ones across the country, providing bus tickets, meals, and a small amount of cash for the journey.
We are partnering with Congregation Albert in this holy work. While we can’t be on the ground in Albuquerque, we can provide financial relief to help cover toiletries, lodging, meals and snacks, bus tickets, phones, clothing, medical needs, $5 to 10 cash for their journey. Please donate now. Any amount helps:
- $120: Helps a person
- $500: Helps a typical family
- $1,800: Helps several families
- $6,000: Helps an entire bus of about 50 people
Thank you all for your deep concern, your humanity, and your commitment to keeping families together. We are so proud of our community.
