12:30 PM - 2:30 PMWest Bloomfield TrailIncorporating Reverse Tashlich into Jewish life allows individuals to connect their spiritual and ethical values with environmental stewardship, while being a part of a global movement. Join us to foster a deeper sense of interconnectedness with the natural world, the global community, and promote positive change.
On Rosh Hashanah, we participate in the tradition of tashlich; throwing breadcrumbs into a moving body of water which symbolizes throwing away all of our bad acts from the year before and letting them be washed away.
This year, we are also going to reverse that act by making sure our waterways remain clean. We’ll be meeting on Orchard Lake Road at the entrance of the WB Trail where we’ll split into 2 groups to cover both the East and the West sides of the trail. By doing this clean up, we will make sure that garbage stays out of our waterways. Please park in the CVS parking lot.
