Healthy Living, Holy Life: Embracing Wellness Through Jewish Wisdom

Please join us for a fascinating exploration of Jewish values around the foods we eat and the lifestyles we choose. The “Healthy Living, Holy Life Program will be facilitated by Rabbi Josh Bennett, and Health and Wellness Coaches, Suzanne Fellows and Marla Kaftan. The evening will include a mini-cooking demonstration and an engaging discussion of lifestyle choices relating to nutrition, relaxation, sleep, movement and connection. The evening will leave you with tools and motivation to escalate your journey of a healthy mind, body, and soul through a jewish lens.

Suzanne Fellows: 
Suzanne is a compassionate Health and Wellness Coach, Physician Assistant and Food For LifeⓇ instructor dedicated to empowering individuals to thrive through utilizing the pillars of lifestyle medicine—healthful eating, regular movement, stress resilience, restorative sleep, and meaningful connection. With a personalized approach, Suzanne helps clients make improvements in their health while embracing colorful, nutrient-dense eating and practice habits to boost longevity, prevent chronic disease, and live vibrantly.
With certifications as a National Board Certified Health and Wellness Coach, Functional Medicine Health Coach, Whole Foods Plant-Based Nutrition Certification, and Food For LifeⓇ Instructor, Suzanne takes an evidence-based approach to wellness. Suzanne integrates her knowledge with a focus on longevity and vitality, helping people adopt lifestyle choices that promote optimal health. She is also studying Nutrigenomics to explore how food choices, lifestyle and genes impact overall health. Suzanne provides opportunities for individual, group and employee wellness programming. Marla Kaftan: 
Marla is an Integrative Health and Wellness Coach, certified by The Institute of Integrative Nutrition. Marla’s theory consists of addressing all facets of one’s life to find balance and sustainability through lifestyle adjustments. She coaches each person based on their individual goals and unique qualities while focusing on eating whole nutritious foods, decreasing stress levels, achieving restorative sleep, increasing movement, and finding greater human connections. The belief that health is a journey and not a destination continues to provide Marla with passion and ambition to empower others to seek whole-person elevated living.
