About Us

Temple Israel Sisterhood’s Mission is to bring together all women of Temple Israel to serve our Temple, support our community and enrich our lives through personal growth and friendship.

We accomplish this mission through social and educational programs, fundraising, community service and involvement with the Women of Reform Judaism. Our activities, enhanced by the richness of our diversity, further our commitment to Jewish ideals, education, spirituality, social action and leadership development.

In addition to many annual events, the Sisterhood also runs Temple Israel's Gift Shop.  The Gift Shop sells beautiful pieces of Judaica, artwork and ritual objects, as well as books, jewelry and other gift items.  Our wonderful volunteer staff are eager to help you.

The highlight of the year is the wonderful *holiday party we host in December. We enjoy Music, Potato Lakes and give the residents the beautiful lap blankets our members made during the year. The residents are so appreciative, it is truly a great time for all!
