Game Day

Join us anytime from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. to play your favorite game....Canasta, Bridge, Mah Jongg, Pinochle, or Euchre.   You bring your friends and your favorite game, we will provide the tables and lunch will be served at noon. THERE IS A $7 CHARGE PER PERSON.  RESERVATIONS AND PAYMENT ARE REQUIRED BY THE MONDAY PRIOR TO THE GAME DAY.

For all reservations received after Monday, the cost will  be $14/person.

Transgender Teen and Young Adult Support Group

This group's meetings are the 2nd Thursday of every month from 7-8:30 pm at Temple Israel

Transgender teens and young adults are welcome to join us for an informal, facilitated support session in a sale and warm environment.  Please come and be yourself, talk about issues, have some pizza and meet your peers.

Please join Kari Provizer, LMSW, ACSW and Jean Nemenzik, LMSW as they facilitate and support you through this transition.

We will be meeting at Temple Israel on the second Thursday of every month through May 2017.

MITZVAH DAY

Temple Israel invites you to join us as we participate in the community-wide MITZVAH DAY.  Lend a hand with other Temple families!  This is a great volunteer opportunity for Bar/Bat Mitzvah students with their families.

JARC Presents - Autism, Disabilities & Sexuality

From young children's issues such as discovering their anatomy ot puberty and beyond, families often have questions.  How can you explain appropriate vs. inappropriate behaviors!  How do you explain dating and relationships?  How can you help your loved one maintain their dignity when it comes to issues of sexuality?  Dr. Graetz and Dr. Edrisinha will discuss these topics and more, and offer stratigies that may help you address these issues with your loved one with ASD or other disabilities.  Program will be held at Temple Israel.
